About the role

Lake Regional Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver the best possible nursing care in LRH’s patient-focused setting.

Responsibilities

Under the clinical supervision of the Licensed Nurse, functions as a member of the healthcare team to provide patient care to Medical/Surgical patients. Provides basic nursing care to patient within the Nursing Assistant’s scope of practice that includes actions that meet psychosocial and physical needs. Care opportunities include a wide range of diagnosis and ages.

Requirements

• Completion of the 75-hour nurse aide course, currently a student in an accredited nursing program, current EMT certification, or completion of the hospital-sponsored nurse aide class.
• One year of medical/surgical hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant certification.
• Basic Life Support.
• Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting.
