Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Medical Surgical Unit

Rotating shifts: 7:00AM - 7:00PM, 7:00PM - 7:00AM / Rotating weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a member of the healthcare team to provide patient care to Medical/Surgical patients.
• Provides basic nursing care to patient within the Nursing Assistant’s scope of practice that includes actions that meet psychosocial and physical needs.
• Care opportunities include a wide range of diagnosis and ages.

Requirements

• Completion of the 75-hour nurse aide course, currently a student in an accredited nursing program, current EMT certification, or completion of the hospital-sponsored nurse aide class.
• One year of medical/surgical hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant certification.
• Basic Life Support.
• Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting.
