Description
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a Nurse Apprentice to join their nursing team. This position is based in the Neonatal ICU at their Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. The NICU is a 32-bed unit with 2 transition rooms, providing 24-hour comprehensive specialty care for preemies and the sickest of full-term infants.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist, and patient service coordination tasks.
- Perform various nursing care services and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients, under the direction and supervision of the licensed nurse.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing required.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
- Six months Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred.
