Nurse Anesthetist (Part Time)

Join our team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist based in Buffalo, New York. We’re looking for an anesthesia professional who brings expertise, confidence, and compassion to every patient encounter. In this role, you’ll take the lead on delivering exceptional anesthesia care—from pre-op assessments to post-op follow-ups—ensuring every patient feels supported and safe.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for anesthesia by reviewing vitals, labs, and monitoring needs.
• Deliver anesthesia care, including emergency response when needed.
• Mentor graduate student nurse anesthetists as faculty or preceptor.
• Participate in continuing education, professional development, and quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements

• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA), or eligibility for certification within twelve (12) months of appointment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and successful completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.

Pay

Starting hourly rate is $129.21. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.

Schedule

• Part-time, regular position.
• 20 weekly hours (0.5 FTE).
• First shift.
