About the role

Join Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH) as a CRNA and make a direct impact on the Interior Alaska community. This rare three-week-on, two-week-off schedule gives you 20 weeks each year to explore Alaska’s outdoors, such as hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, and northern lights viewing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cases with physician oversight in general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, podiatry, healthy peds, and GI procedures.
  • Experience a dynamic and engaging caseload with a bread-and-breadth of procedures.
  • Work in a rural health system with a focus on patient care and community service.
  • Enjoy a flexible schedule with shifts of 12 hours and often ending earlier, providing more downtime.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
  • Completed graduate program in Nurse Anesthesia.
  • Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the NBCRNA.
  • Valid current or temporary Alaska RN license.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Experience working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a CRNA preferred.

Skills

Strong clinical skills, ability to manage complex cases, and excellent teamwork are essential.

  • Salary DOE between $315K-$378K.
  • $40K sign-on bonus.
