Nurse Aide, State Registered (SRNA) - Med Surg

Centerpoint - Winchester, formerly Clark Regional Medical Center, offers a wide range of diverse services across its hospital and many sites of care, including 24/7 emergency services, primary and urgent care, imaging, cardiology and surgical services, women's and children's services, behavioral health, physical rehabilitation and more.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and assist in developing patient-specific anesthesia care plans under supervision.
• Administer and manage anesthesia (general, regional, local) under the direction of a CRNA or anesthesiologist.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during surgical procedures.
• Assist with airway management, including intubation and ventilation support.
• Provide post-anesthesia care, including patient monitoring, pain management, and documentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• State Registered Nursing Assistant (SRNA) certification or Certified Nursing Assistant certification (CNA).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• Handle with Care certification within 30 days of hire and annually.
