Position Summary
As a Nurse Aide in Training, you will gain the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). You will work under the supervision of licensed staff while completing your training.
What You’ll Learn & Do
- Participate in a state-approved CNA training program
- Aid residents with basic care needs (grooming, hygiene, dressing)
- Support meal service and hydration
- Learn to monitor and report changes in resident condition
- Practice infection control and safety procedures
- Aid with mobility and resident comfort
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Attend all classes and complete required coursework
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Eligible for a state-approved CNA program
- Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare or nursing
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassion for an underserved population
