Nuclear Security (Physical)/Safeguards Compliance Analyst VI

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Aid in the creation and implementation of security plans for the construction phase of the Xe-100 plant.
• Support the development and implementation of Access Authorization and Fitness for Duty programs for both the construction site and operational facility.
• Collaborate in the creation and execution of a comprehensive training and qualification program for security personnel.
• Administer and operate X-energy’s Safeguards Information (SGI) program.
• Provide technical support for the security system infrastructure.
• Maintain awareness of Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development and execution of defense strategies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain professional demeanor and behavior.
• Lead the execution of core tasks and responsibilities.
• Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members.
• Share knowledge with others across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

• Twenty years of experience in a relevant role, with nuclear experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field from an accredited institution, in lieu of five years of relevant experience.
• Expert understanding of NRC regulatory requirements, including physical protection and SGI management.
• Advanced experience in security systems, including surveillance, intrusion detection, and access control systems.
• Advanced experience in the development and implementation of security plans, access control programs, and fitness for duty programs.
• Advanced experience in defense strategy development and incident response planning.
