Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a licensing roadmap for the Netherlands with the ambitious goal of licensing a plant within two years.
- Serve as the main liaison with the Netherlands nuclear regulatory network, including the Authority for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection (ANVS), COVRA, and other government bodies.
- Lead and ensure the quality of regulatory filings, license applications, and safety cases, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and timely.
- Oversee Dutch third-party licensing firms, managing budgets, schedules, and deliverable quality.
- Monitor and address regulatory issues from internal and external stakeholders, proactively identifying and mitigating regulatory risks.
- Foster a culture of creativity, challenging established norms, and extreme ownership to develop an efficient regulatory practice.
Qualifications
- Experience in the nuclear industry is a plus, but fresh perspectives and bold ideas are valued.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, particularly with regulatory bodies.
- Proven track record in regulatory compliance and project management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
