NUCLEAR RADIOLOGIST/NUCLEAR MEDICINE PHYSICIAN

About the role

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Nuclear Radiologist/Nuclear Medicine Physician to join our growing section. The clinical scope of the position will focus on Diagnostic Imaging in cancer patients including CT, MRI, US, Nuclear Medicine, and plain films according to sub-specialty. Academic responsibilities include teaching fellows, residents, and students.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and serves as a member of the academic medical enterprise.
• Participates in 17 disease-focused multidisciplinary clinical conferences each week.
• Engages in research and teaching opportunities, including participation in investigator-initiated clinical trials and NIH-funded research projects.
• Works within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center.

Requirements

• American Board of Radiology or American Board of Nuclear Medicine certification.
• Sub-specialty fellowship training in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
• A completed Florida medical license or eligibility for one.
• Experience in image-guided biopsies and interventional procedures is not necessary but can be accommodated.

Qualifications

• An M.D./D.O. degree.
• Board certified in Nuclear Radiology/Nuclear Medicine or eligible.
• Completed fellowship in Radiology subspecialty area required.

$490,027.20 - $607,833.62
