NUCLEAR / RADIOLOGICAL PRODUCT TRAINER 3
The Role
Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of exempt experience
- NNS Apprentice School graduate
- High school and 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
- Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School
- 6 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
Nice to Have
- Previously or current Nuclear Quality Control qualifications
- Knowledge and understanding of ship’s nuclear systems
- Experience working cleanliness grades of RPCMP A-29
- Knowledge and experience with nuclear pipefitting or testing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, etc.)
Qualifications
Must have Bachelor's degree and 6 years of exempt experience; Master's degree and 4 years of exempt experience may be used as equivalent to a bachelor's degree to meet minimum qualifications. The following may be used as equivalent to the number of exempt years of experience required, in addition to the education requirement above: 6 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience.
