Nuclear Quality Lead Auditor

Job Description

The Nuclear Quality Lead Auditor will manage internal and external quality assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities include leading assessments, developing expertise, communicating across levels, supporting projects, and representing the organization.

• Direct, plan, and perform assessments to ensure compliance with U.S. and international nuclear quality regulations and standards.
• Develop depth/breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.
• Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
• Support approaches, projects, and programs in the functional area or affected business organization.
• Influence and support quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of own team.
• Solve moderately complex tasks or problems using critical thinking and technical experience.
• Represent GE Vernova in external, customer, and regulatory assessments/visits.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working within a nuclear QA Program.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working in quality assurance, quality auditing, or related capacity.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to other GVH, customer, and supplier facilities (including international locations).

Desired Characteristics

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited university or college.
• Certified or able to certify as a Lead Auditor to ASME NQA-1 standard.
• Familiarity with nuclear industry standards and expectations (e.g. ASME, CSA, ISO, IAEA, INPO, NEI, EPRI).
• Ability to manage competing priorities and interact with various levels of management.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain a site security clearance, including NRC required background check.

• Pay Range: $93,500.00 - $155,900.00
• Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
