About the role
Join the groundbreaking effort to restart Duane Arnold Energy Center. As a Nuclear Planner Senior, you'll be essential to this historic project, driving planning activities such as developing and maintaining maintenance schedules, coordinating work package sequencing, and aligning cross-functional teams to ensure on-time execution across various plant systems. This is your opportunity to apply your planning expertise and nuclear experience to a transformational project powering Iowa's clean energy future.
This is a full-time, project-bound role with an expected duration through December 30, 2028.
Responsibilities
- Develop repair plans and adjust preventive maintenance plans for implementation
- Work with station personnel to identify, create, and order parts for repair/replacement activities
- Plan work packages for all types of work including Design Change Work Packages, Preventive Maintenance Work Packages, Corrective Work Packages
- Define work standards for planned activities
- Identify and analyze corrective and preventive maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities
- Develop work standards to support work packages
- Provide guidance to more junior system planners or contractors to develop detailed elements of overall packages
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Grad / GED
- 7+ years of experience in a nuclear environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Trade School Graduate (preferred)
- 10+ years of experience (preferred)
- 10+ years of nuclear experience (preferred)
