Job Summary and Qualifications

This position supports the mission of HCA HealthONE of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the supervision of the Nuclear Imaging Director, performs simple and complex radionuclide diagnostic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric. Performs all calibrations and quality control on equipment and maintains accurate records. Responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results. Responsible for supply/inventory management. Quality Improvement activities, and the maintenance of a Radioactive Materials License. When needed, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program.
  • Current certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N).
  • Maintain current registry.
  • Attend continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
  • Maintain BLS, ACLS recommended.
  • Completion of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program.
  • Current certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N).
  • Prioritize 3-6 years recent hospital Nuclear Medicine experience including nuclear cardiology.
