Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET

We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear imaging procedures, including radiopharmaceutical preparation, administration, and imaging, while adhering to safety standards and regulatory guidelines. Key Duties Include Performing quality nuclear medicine imaging examinations on diverse patient populations.Operating equipment safely and accurately, including cameras and PET/CT systems.Preparing, measuring, and administering radiopharmaceuticals as directed by physicians.Ensuring radiation safety, maintaining quality assurance, and complying with NRC regulations.Collecting patient data, analyzing results, and providing high-quality images for diagnosis.Possibly performing PET/CT scans after training, with understanding of related procedures.Providing patient education and maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Qualifications Include Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program or radiologic technology training.Certification by ARRT or CNMT/NMTBC.At least one year of radiologic technologist experience if not a recent graduate.Strong knowledge of radiographic principles, radiation protection, and quality control. Skills and qualities required: technical expertise, attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability to new technology, professionalism, and commitment to patient care.
