About the Role
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide procedures, collaborating with medical staff and adhering to departmental and regulatory standards. They serve as a patient and customer service representative, participate in quality control and organizational improvements, and contribute to staffing needs through call schedules.
Responsibilities
- Perform radionuclide-based diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for diverse patient populations.
- Collaborate with physicians and physicists to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Participate in quality control activities and departmental improvements.
- Serve as a compassionate communicator to patients, families, and staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or equivalent, including California certification.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Pay
This role offers a pay range of $53.80 to $68.90 per hour, with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials and bonuses.
