Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NM)

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Analyze studies and notify physicians of significant findings.
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment.
• Carry out radiation safety surveys, wipe tests, and dosimetry activities.
• Process images and documentation using PACS, VISTA, and CPRS.
• Perform scheduling, patient registration, and administrative duties.
• Train students and clinical staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma.
• NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification.
• A minimum of one (1) year of proven clinical experience in a Level 1 hospital setting is preferred.
• Maintain active AHA BLS certification.
