About the role

An experienced nuclear medicine technologist is needed for a permanent position within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radioactive drugs for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • Operate radiation detection and imaging equipment accurately.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Work in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting stress test procedures and patient monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
  • State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine.
  • BLS certification.
  • Experience with Dose Calibrator, Geiger Counter, Captus well counter, and uptake probe.
  • Proficiency with stress lab equipment, glucometers, blood pressure monitors, and pulse oximeters.
  • Prior experience in diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine preferred.
  • Ability to function effectively in a dynamic clinical environment and work collaboratively with nurses.
