About the role
An experienced nuclear medicine technologist is needed for a permanent position within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radioactive drugs for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
- Operate radiation detection and imaging equipment accurately.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
- Participate in on-call rotations for nuclear medicine procedures.
- Work in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting stress test procedures and patient monitoring.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with Dose Calibrator, Geiger Counter, Captus well counter, and uptake probe.
- Proficiency with stress lab equipment, glucometers, blood pressure monitors, and pulse oximeters.
- Prior experience in diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine preferred.
- Ability to function effectively in a dynamic clinical environment and work collaboratively with nurses.
