Join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Casual/PRN) at Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, Delaware.
Responsibilities
- Perform Nuclear Medicine and Bone Densitometry imaging studies
- Provide a quality health care service that includes total patient care in a comfortable, friendly environment
- Participate in departmental and hospital programs for quality assessment and improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve services and make recommendations
- Implement actions consistent with Nemours goals
- Work well with others, act as a team member
- Work independently and engage in critical thinking to improve the quality of care
- Aid in training of new personnel and students
Requirements
- Completion of AMA Nuclear Medicine Technology Program required
- Minimum of 3 months experience required
- New graduates are welcome (Must complete on the job training for DXA and/or CT)
- State of Delaware Nuclear Medicine Technology License required within 90 days of hire
- ARRT (N) or CNMT certified or eligible (required within 90 days of hire)
- American Heart Association BLS Certification required upon hire
- Preferred: ARRT (limited scope bone dense) certified; DE state licensure for Bone Densitometry; CT certified; DE state licensure for CT
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills are essential to this position due to required continuous interaction with public and professional, medical personnel.

- Working knowledge of all Nuclear Medicine and DEXA equipment
