About the role
Assist nuclear physicians with special imaging procedures in a hospital setting. Ensure accurate test performance, equipment calibration, and patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging tests accurately and efficiently
- Calibrate and maintain imaging equipment
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Follow regulatory standards and complete assignments promptly
- Manage radio-pharmaceuticals according to safety protocols
- Adhere to departmental and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with patients
- Execute imaging procedures with precision
Requirements
- Graduate degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Current New Jersey license in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Certification from ARRT or NMTCB
- BLS certification
Qualifications
- Preferred: two years of experience in a hospital environment
- Preferred: additional certifications such as NMTCB Fusion or ARRT (R, CT)
