Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Role Overview As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment, ensuring high-quality results in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities include: verifying patient identity and orders, preparing patients, operating imaging systems, reviewing image quality, maintaining safety standards, and documenting procedures accurately. You will support patient care, educate patients, and assist with training team members and students. Qualifications: current state license, clinical board certification (ARRT or NMTCB), BLS and IV certifications. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of clinical experience and a bachelor’s degree. Skills required: handling radiopharmaceuticals, radiation safety, equipment operation, image evaluation, documentation, patient communication, teamwork, and safety protocols. Physical demands: ability to see, read, communicate verbally, manipulate delicate equipment, lift and transfer patients, and navigate busy clinical settings.
