Nuclear Medicine Tech

About the Role

Provide diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures for both inpatients and outpatients through the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the safe operation of various types of imaging, counting, and computer equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of radioactive materials from receipt through administration and disposal.
• Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assure current standards of practice for the unit.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Registered Technologist, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine R.T. (N)(ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
• Licensed Radiology Technologist for those working at a Kansas site

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (strongly preferred)
• Bachelor's Degree
• One (1) year of nuclear medicine experience (strongly preferred)
• Cardiac Nuclear Medicine registration
• Positron Emission Tomography Registry (if applicable to entity)

Located in Lehi, Mountain Point is easily accessible from I-15 and SR-92 just east of Thanksgiving Point. The hospital is a leader in advanced surgical technologies and is a Level III trauma center and stroke receiving facility.

$37.59 - $56.88 per hour
