About the role

Ascension Saint Agnes Heart Care Department is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. The position is located at Ascension Saint Agnes Heart Care in Baltimore, MD. The schedule is a full-time, day shift with occasional on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging by operating advanced cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs, providing radiologists and physicians with the high-quality visual data they need for accurate patient diagnoses.
• Manage radiopharmaceuticals safely by ordering, preparing, administering, and disposing of materials in strict accordance with clinical protocols to protect both patient health and team safety.
• Prioritize patient comfort and technical accuracy by carefully positioning individuals and selecting exact anatomical factors to capture clear images on the first take.
• Champion radiation safety by rigorously following established safety guidelines and protective procedures for every patient encounter and imaging run.
• Maintain data and equipment integrity by promptly submitting complete records to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and ensuring all department imaging equipment is functioning flawlessly.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty.
• State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Maryland Board of Physicians required.
• Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Pay

$45.83- $63.88 per hour

Schedule

Day Shift | Full-Time | Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM; Occasional on-call coverage.
