About the Role
Responsible for performing diagnostic Nuclear Medicine-PET/CT exams, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging results.
Responsibilities
- Maintain competency in Nuclear Medicine-PET/CT procedures
- Prepare patients for imaging exams
- Operate Nuclear Medicine-PET/CT equipment
- Review image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols
- Keep accurate patient records
- Provide patient education
Requirements
- Current state license in Nuclear Medicine
- ARRT or NMTCB certification
- BLS and IV certifications
- At least one year of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience
- Knowledge of radiation safety, imaging techniques, and anatomy
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PET/CT experience
- Bachelor’s degree
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to read labels and operate monitors
- Lift and move patients and equipment
- Stand for extended periods
- Navigate busy clinical environments
