About the Role

Under the direction of the Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist and in association with the radiologists, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting colleagues in providing quality patient care. The technologist performs services in accordance with accepted standards of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
• ARRT(N) through ARRT or CNMT through NMTCB
• BLS certification
