About the role

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients of all ages. You will apply radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment, perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, and produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. You will exercise professional judgment, maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics, and provide appropriate patient care. This role serves neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images.
  • Apply professional judgment in service performance and patient care.
  • Recognize patient conditions essential to successfully completing procedures.
  • Provide health care services using radionuclides for diagnosis or treatment.
  • Maintain knowledge of principles of growth and development across the life span.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Registered as ARRT (N) or NMTCB.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Two years of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
