We are a growing specialty and oncology group located in Overland Park, KS, seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team.
About the role
This is a permanent, direct-hire position in an oncology and imaging (PET/CT) setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT imaging and diagnostic CT exams per physician and radiologist guidelines
- Administer theranostic treatments and radiopharmaceuticals safely and effectively
- Handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials in compliance with NRC and state regulations
- Ensure accurate dosage measurement, administration, and documentation
- Educate patients on procedures and provide excellent patient care
- Follow radiation safety protocols and imaging center policies
- Assist with training and mentoring new staff as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program (or equivalent experience)
- NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification required; CT Certification is a plus (not required)
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine or PET experience
- Current Kansas License
- Current BLS certification
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Pay
$49 – $53/hr plus a full and competitive benefits package
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 10-hour day shifts
