About the role
This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus; 50% to be paid on first pay period following hire date and the remaining 50% to be paid on the first pay period following the completion of six months of employment. Prior Employment Restriction: All potential recipients cannot have been employed within the UC System for the past 12 months in order to qualify for the hiring bonus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department using radioactive isotopes for enhanced diagnostic imaging.
- Perform all nuclear medicine procedures.
Requirements
- Registered and licensed by the American Registry of Nuclear Medicine Technology and the State of California.
- CPR Certification Required.
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
- Adequate written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
Qualifications
- 2 years progressively more responsible experience nuclear medicine related program/job.
- PET experience.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
