Responsibilities

  • Perform radiation hardening analysis for component (WCCA, PBO, SGEMP, MCNP etc.)
  • Conduct shielding effectiveness analysis for enclosures
  • Develop testing and qualification plans for systems
  • Develop test procedures, oversee tests and write test reports
  • Summarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Science or related technical field
  • 5 years' experience with Nuclear Effects Analysis
  • Demonstrated capability/experience in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to document analysis methodology and results
  • Excellent communication skills are required, as position requires the description/documentation of analysis techniques and results using a variety of tools (PowerPoint, Word)
  • Active security clearance required, eligibility for SAP clearance is required
  • Up to 10% of travel may be required
