Responsibilities
- Perform radiation hardening analysis for component (WCCA, PBO, SGEMP, MCNP etc.)
- Conduct shielding effectiveness analysis for enclosures
- Develop testing and qualification plans for systems
- Develop test procedures, oversee tests and write test reports
- Summarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Science or related technical field
- 5 years' experience with Nuclear Effects Analysis
- Demonstrated capability/experience in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to document analysis methodology and results.
- Excellent communication skills are required, as position requires the description/documentation of analysis techniques and results using a variety of tools (PowerPoint, Word)
- Active security clearance required, eligibility for SAP clearance is required
- Up to 10% of travel may be required
