Nuclear Engineer Supervisor
About the role
Lead policy studies and projects related to nuclear security, develop authoritative documents, resolve complex scientific/engineering issues, and advise senior management.
Responsibilities
- Conceive, plan, analyze, and lead policy initiatives
- Produce white papers influencing policy or program direction
- Lead teams of experts from government and private sectors
- Serve as a technical representative in meetings and panels
Qualifications
Must have at least one year of specialized experience as a professional engineer in naval nuclear propulsion or related fields, demonstrating knowledge of engineering principles and management of contractor activities. Education requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, or professional engineering registration or certification.
