About the role
As a Nuclear Analysis Technician, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our nuclear operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid engineers and other higher classified personnel in technical type functions related to the generation, assemblage, and verification of nuclear analysis information.
- Identify engineering work which requires a high degree of manipulative or other special skills acquired through experience, coupled with technical training and application of knowledge in the area of specialization.
- Support engineering work which requires a high degree of manipulative or other specific skills acquired.
- Support the analysis, summarization, and preparation of data into written and graphic form requiring calculations involving the use of basic algebraic formulae and trigonometric functions.
- Review computer program input using computer input sheets or specific check programs.
- Help prepare computer input alterations and modifications based on information derived from initial raw data analysis.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree Required - Technical curriculum is preferred.
- Must Haves:
- 2 Courses in Math
- 2 Courses in Physics.
- OR
- 60 College Credits in an Engineering Curriculum
- Experience Requirement:
- 1+ years of experience in a laboratory environment helpful
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $41,000 to $61,000 per year.
