Nuclear Acquisition Analyst

Responsibilities

Will provide support to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Strategic, Space, and Intelligence Portfolio Management (DAS W (SSIPM)) in the Strategic Deterrence and Capabilities (SDC) Directorate.

Will also support DAS W (SSIPM)s participation in the Nuclear Weapons Council and other DoW nuclear-related forums and will develop decision-ready material for senior leaders.

Apply the initiative to navigate headquarters and acquisition processes to support the DASD portfolio management responsibilities.

Support portfolio management and oversight of systems through development, production, and fielding to the warfighter.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience
• 5+ years of experience with the Defense Acquisition System
• 5+ years of experience with nuclear weapons and weapon systems at the operational and programmatic level
• Understanding of DoD I 5000.02 and the DoW acquisition process
• Master's degree
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Able to work fully onsite based on client needs

Desired

• Experience as a DoW Program Manager/Deputy Program Manager
• Project Management Professional Certification
• Experience supporting the Sentinel, LRSO, or ALCM programs
• Special Access Program eligibility
