Nuc Med Technologist (CNMT) - PRN

About the role

This Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is located at the Memorial East Shiloh site of BJC. Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care facility offering medical, surgical, critical, emergency, pediatric, heart and vascular services, and is an accredited Chest Pain Center, Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, Lung Cancer Screening Center, and Magnet®‑recognized organization. Memorial Hospital Shiloh is a 94‑bed all‑private suite hospital with Magnet status, providing emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical/surgical, and critical services. The Nuclear Medicine Department provides comprehensive nuclear medicine scans and cardiac stress testing for inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on‑call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by the work area.

Requirements

• Education: Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education).
• Certification: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (RT(N) or CNMT) – Illinois only (excluding MRI).
• Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
  • Nuclear Tech
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)
  • Tomography
  • Radiation Safety Officer
  • Radiologic Technologist – Nuclear Medicine
  • Nuclear Medicine Imaging Technologist
  • Radiotracer Technologist
  • PET Technologist

Qualifications

• Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine.
• Preferred Experience: Less than 2 years.
• Preferred Licenses & Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
