About the role
The role of District Sales Manager (DSM) includes but is not limited to executing on the product group and enterprise-wide strategy within the assigned territory in order to maximize Nucor's profitability through collaboration with Sales, Production and Technical personnel. This position requires extensive travel on a weekly basis and permanent relocation to the territory, in order to take care of Nucor customers.
Responsibilities
- Execute on the product group and enterprise-wide strategy within the assigned territory
- Collaborate with Sales, Production and Technical personnel to maximize Nucor's profitability
- Manage customer relationships and account management
- Lead and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
Requirements
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technical or related field
- 3+ years of outside sales experience or successful completion of Nucor’s DDSM program
- Special Bar Quality and Rod Experience (preferred)
- Steelmaking Experience (preferred)

Pay
Projected Annual Compensation is $96,845 - $150,218 based on related experience, knowledge, skills and abilities (not including benefits).
Schedule
This position requires extensive travel on a weekly basis and permanent relocation to the territory.
