NPI Engineering Technician

About the role
The NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineering Technician supports the industrialization and launch of new products at a Carrier manufacturing facility, assisting with validations of MCS and pilot runs.
Responsibilities
- Support pilot runs, tests, and validations of new products.
- Support the installation and setup of NPI tooling and equipment.
- Document processes, test results, and visual aids.
- Partner with Engineering and Quality on transfer to production.
- Support problem-solving during launches.
- Maintain records and evidence of validation.
Requirements
- Technical/associate degree or trade school in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics.
- 2+ years of experience as an engineering, quality, or lab technician.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with product launches.
- Blueprint and process sheet reading skills.
- Knowledge of quality tools.
- Familiarity with engineering documentation, including BOMs.
- Knowledge of SAP & Windchill.
- Hands-on experience supporting pilot runs, tests, and validations.
- Ability to install and set up tooling and equipment for new products.
Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 and $158,000.00. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
