About the Role
The NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer leads the industrialization and launch of new products at a Carrier manufacturing facility, ensuring successful, on-time, and on-quality launches.
Responsibilities
- Leads the industrialization and launch of new products (NPI).
- Coordinates APQP, PPAP, and process-validation phases.
- Partners with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality on transfer to production.
- Manages pilot runs, validations, and product release.
- Ensures projects meet time, cost, and quality gates.
- Documents processes and standards for new products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of NPI or product-industrialization experience in manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering (preferred).
- Experience with product launches in high-growth environments.
- Project-management and CAD proficiency; PMP or Six Sigma certification (preferred).
- Proficiency with CAD and quality tools.
- Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, and process validation.
- Proven ability to manage launches to time, cost, and quality gates.
- Experience coordinating pilot runs, validations, and production transfer with cross-functional teams.
Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 and $158,000.00. Factors affecting pay within this range include skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may also be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
