Key Responsibilities
- Aid in creating and updating simple documentation such as visual aids, basic work instructions, checklists, and production support forms.
- Upload, save, and organize documents in SharePoint and designated company folders.
- Maintain basic trackers in Excel, including updating status fields and part numbers.
- Print documentation packets and distribute to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Help archive outdated or superseded documents following established procedures and communicate with team.
- Provide general administrative support to higher level Document Specialists.
- Collaborate with level I and level II Document Specialists.
- Collaborate with other NPI team members to raise alerts, troubleshoot, rework, or implement improvements.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in document control or administrative support in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management software.
- A basic understanding of technical documents and engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in enclosure or cable manufacturing is a plus.
