About the Role
Part-time and full-time roles are available in the Greater Baltimore area, Maryland, or Washington D.C.
Responsibilities
- Empower children to overcome communication challenges by providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in a school setting
- Provide innovative speech and language services in both regular classrooms and in specialized one-on-one or small group sessions
- Complete speech assessments with children who demonstrate a functional inability to perform in an educational environment
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of educators and professionals
- Create all documentation necessary and communicate with school staff and families in support of students
- Make a lasting impact on student's educational success
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Science Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Maryland and/or Washington DC license or eligibility
- Passion for working with children and fostering their growth
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to data-driven, evidence-based practices
