NP PG - Speech Language Pathologist

Key Responsibilities

• Empower children to overcome communication challenges by providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in a school setting.
• Provide innovative speech and language services in both regular classrooms and in specialized one-on-one or small group sessions.
• Complete speech assessments with children who demonstrate a functional inability to perform in an educational environment.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of educators and professionals.
• Create all documentation necessary and communicate with school staff and families in support of students.
• Make a lasting impact on student's educational success.

Qualifications

• Ideal Candidates Have:
• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Science Disorders.
• A Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for certification.
• A Maryland and/or Washington D.C. license or eligibility for licensure.
• Passion for working with children and fostering their growth.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to data-driven, evidence-based practices.
