NP-PA-Urgent Care

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories
• Conduct physical exams
• Review past medical records
• Complete electronic health records
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
• Explain necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient and family
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Review results of studies and procedures and interpret results toward quality patient care

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program
• Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants within one year of hire
• Nurse Practitioner: Master of Science Degree in Nursing
• Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current MA or RI R.N. registration
• Over 3 months experience
• NP MA Nursing License authorization to practice in an expanded role
• PA Physician Assistant License authorization to practice
• CME requirements as needed

Pay

USD $67.00 - USD $84.00 /Hr.

Schedule

Modified full-time - 36 hours M-F 8A-8:30P / S-S 9A-5:30P Shift: Day/Evening, weekend, holiday rotation. Every other weekend & every other holiday.
