Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across our primary care clinic network. This role involves delivering comprehensive care to patients of all ages while supporting provider coverage needs at multiple locations. The ideal candidate is flexible, collaborative, and committed to maintaining excellent clinical outcomes in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

About the Role

The NP/PA will provide comprehensive primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. The provider will be responsible for delivering preventive care and wellness services while addressing same-day and routine patient needs. This individual will float between various clinic locations to ensure appropriate provider coverage and continuity of care across the organization.

Position Requirement(s)

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration Required:
    • Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Tennessee.
    • Certification by the American Nurses Association as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Education Required:
    • Graduate from a nationally accredited School of Nursing for both undergraduate and Master's Degree.
    • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Experience Required:
    • One to three years' experience in primary care setting.
    • Occupational Health experience.

Qualifications

  • Graduates of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Board certification.
  • Active and unrestricted license in both Tennessee and Georgia.
  • Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.

Skills

  • Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Ability to take medical history, assess medical condition, and interpret findings.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain records, write reports, and respond to correspondence.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.
  • Ability to perform procedures and operate equipment necessary for patient care as required.
  • Ability to maintain strict level of confidentiality regarding health information.
