NP / PA - Outpatient Cardiology

About the role

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver expert pediatric cardiac care in a reputable Heart Institute. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat children with a range of cardiac conditions. You will provide family-centered care by communicating effectively with families and involving them in decision-making. The position also includes contributing to quality improvement initiatives and research to advance pediatric cardiology practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans

Qualifications

• Certification and licensure as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-PC), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Physician Assistant (PA) in Florida
• Master's or Doctorate degree in relevant pediatric or PA studies
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Experience in pediatric cardiology or related fields preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to family-centered care

Pay

Salary ranges from $51.03 to $79.10 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

• Full-time, day shifts
• No on-call duties or weekends
• Grant-funded and temporary, with employment contingent on funding
