NP/PA - Ortho Angola

About the Role

Provider will have a split schedule between ORS Dekalb and ORS Angola to support Ortho Express efforts at both locations, along with follow-up needs for surgeons in this area.

Parkview Physicians Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our practice. The ideal candidate employs excellent diplomatic communication skills, collaborates with intra-interdepartmental team members and community organizations, and utilizes critical thinking to best serve our patients.

Requirements for Nurse Practitioner

• Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing program (DNP optional)
• Current or pending state license for Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
• Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred

Requirements for Physician Assistant

• Graduate of a Master’s degree program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant Program (ARC-PA)
• Current or pending state license
• Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant preferred
• Certifications as required by specialty, which may include:
  • BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • ACLS/ACLS-EP
  • PALS
  • ATLS
  • CSR
