About the Role
AdventHealth Tampa’s Anesthesia Department is seeking a Perioperative Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Department. This provider will evaluate medically complex patients prior to scheduled elective surgical procedures to ensure medical optimization and appropriate care coordination. The APP will coordinate with specialty services (such as cardiology, pulmonology, hematology, and endocrinology), anesthesia, and surgery to plan for pre-surgical needs and ensure all required testing is performed or obtained.
Responsibilities include completing histories and physical examinations through scheduled in-person appointments, providing preoperative patient education, and guiding the PAT nursing staff in screening preoperative patients.

- Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends, no holidays, no call
- Flexible scheduling options: 5x8s or 4x10s; shifts from 8am–4pm or 8am–6pm
