NP PA Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiothoracic Surgery

About the role

Competitive compensation includes a base salary ranging from $125,000 - $193,000, with call pay adding 12.5% to your base pay and time and a half for call back activation. Additional benefits include up to $3,500 annually for CME, an additional 40 hours of time over PTO, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and $7,500 in relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide quality care and excellent patient experience.
• Practice at our CT Surgery Clinic and St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO.
• Assist surgeons in performing procedures during surgery.
• Perform Radial Artery and Saphenous vein harvesting.
• Discharge Same Day or PACU patients.
• Participate in daily team rounding and clinic responsibilities including new H&P and surgical follow-ups.

Requirements

• PA or NP degree from a fully accredited program.
• At least 1-2 years of experience as a First Assist PA or NP.
• One year experience in CT with proven independence in EVH.
• Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one.
• BLS certification and DEA.

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Pay

$62.44 - $96.34 per hour

Schedule

Mon-Fri working 4, 10's with paid 1:3 call for nights and weekends. Q3 call requirement includes rounding on weekends during call and being first call for the nursing floor.
