NP or PA - CVICU (PRN) → Critical Care Nurse or Physician Assistant - CVICU (PRN)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in a community-based, not-for-profit hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill cardiovascular patients
• Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Monitor and adjust patient care plans
• Educate patients and families
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in an accredited Acute Care NP program
• Current certification and Maryland licensure as an NP
• Prior critical care experience (preferably in CVICU)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
