Under general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, performs physical, psycho-social assessment; establishes medical diagnosis; orders and evaluates diagnostic tests; manages follow up care; does other related work as required.

Responsibilities

• Performing physical examinations
• Developing treatment plans
• Ordering and interpreting lab tests and results
• Providing preventative healthcare and counseling

Requirements

• A college degree as a Physician's Assistant from a recognized university, affiliated with a medical school
• Please refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position

Preferred Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience with a medical practice setting where diagnosis, treatment and patient education were the main focus of the role
