Position: School Bus Driver – Student Transportation Location: Jacksonville, Florida Service Areas: Westside, Southside, Eastside, and Northside Jacksonville Schedule: 6 Hours Per Day, Monday–Friday Employment Type: Part-Time Start Date: ASAP Compensation: Competitive Pay – Based on Experience Position Overview Legacy Solutions Inc. is urgently seeking dependable, experienced, and safety-conscious School Bus Drivers to provide student transportation throughout Jacksonville, Florida. We have immediate needs for qualified drivers to cover assigned school transportation routes on the Westside, Southside, Eastside, and Northside of Jacksonville. Selected candidates will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and designated locations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and reliability. All candidates must successfully pass a Level 2 fingerprint-based background screening. Key Responsibilities Safely transport students along assigned school bus routes throughout Jacksonville. Provide morning and afternoon student transportation services. Follow designated routes, schedules, and transportation procedures. Maintain a safe, respectful, and orderly environment on the bus. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Comply with all traffic laws, school transportation regulations, and safety requirements. Report maintenance concerns, student incidents, and transportation issues promptly. Maintain accurate transportation records and required documentation. Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and dependable attendance. Required Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements. Must successfully pass a Level 2 fingerprint-based background screening. Must meet applicable Florida and federal school bus driver requirements. Must have a satisfactory driving record. Must successfully complete required drug and alcohol screenings. Strong commitment to student safety and professional conduct. Ability to work approximately 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Must be reliable and available to cover assigned routes throughout Jacksonville. Preferred Qualifications Previous school bus driving experience. Familiarity with Jacksonville neighborhoods and transportation routes. Experience transporting elementary, middle, or high school students. Strong communication and student management skills.
