Responsibilities
- Perform Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Visual Testing (VT) inspections on structural welds and related components.
- C Conduct inspections in accordance with NAVSEA procedures, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Accurately document inspection results and maintain required records.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Current or previous Level II MT/PT/VT certification in accordance with SNT-TC-1A or equivalent.
- Documented classroom training and OJT experience hours available for review.
- Experience performing weld inspections.
- Ability to meet shipyard badging and access requirements.
- NAVSEA or shipyard experience is highly preferred.
